Poker question...Do you try to slow play your good starting hands?
I've gotten burned many a time slow-playing a decent starting hand in Texas Holdem. I find more and more that people will stay in with just about anything and then I find myself getting out drawn and burned in the end. In online games, do you tend to be more or less aggressive with your opening bets?
well i think it all depends of your hand, position and how many players are playing the hand. sometimes its better to steal the beginning bets other than going to the flop and maybe ending up with nothing. i have seen too many times players wth ex.AA getting outplayed withstupid hands like 8,J or 4,6 or whatever. i guess you just have to go with the feeling and if needed you have to fold your hand even if it is a high pair. :)
