Convenience Store Gambling
Do you ever gamble at those convenience store games? I have never tried them and I am not sure if they pay out cash or not. There is one near my house and I swear no matter what time of day you go in there there is this one guy who is ALWAYS there. I am starting to wonder if he lives there!
I used to see these when I was a kid at one of our local truck stops. There were regulars who would hog and actually fight over the three machines that were there! I found this rather sad and pathetic as a kid and that is the sole reason to this day I have never and hopefully will never play in this type of setting, lol.
I'm not sure, but are you talking about the poker type games? I still see these in local taverns here and there in my neighborhood. Technically speaking, in our area, they are "for entertainment purposes only". there was some talk of making it legal, but I don't think anything came of it.
I am pretty sure most places in the US no longer have them. I have heard of some at truck stops (my dad was a trucker) growing up and hearing of them in small pubs too, but nothing since I have turned of age.
I am in GA and they are all over down here. I guess it's just a southern thing or something. I think they are mostly poker and slots.
