Lost trust

I always hear "I don't trust ____ as far as I could throw them", well what happens when you lose trust of someone you have known for a very long time? That is where I am this week and I am kind of peeved this person betrayed myself and others to the point that they did.

You either have to cut them out of your life completely or find away to get past it. Even if you get past it make sure they know that it will be a long time before they ever have your trust back.

I guess I just had to vent and I fully know all of this but still its such a pain that its almost shocking. I hate having to lose people close to me but sometimes you really do need to cut the ties before you get hung around the neck, you know?
