Snooty gamers

Haha- I thought I was the only one leaving an online casino because of some "strange" players there.
Nice to know there are more people like me, who enjoy a friendly community for playing games.

My worst case casino was a bingoroom with an included chat. The players there were acting like being paid from the casino. Even the worst mistakes by the moderator of the chat were praised by these "strange" players. The best of all was, they did the support service through that chat too.
So all other could see, if somebody else had problems with bonus money and real money and they were clearing these things in the public chat.

You should see some poker rooms! Its actually quite amusing watching some players abuse each other!! Especially when they are losing.

I think its different if its a mostly "friends circle" but I have seen some that are just so bad, its never a good welcome for newcomers. How would anyone feel welcome with some of the trash talk of others you know?

If I would enter a casino poker room with players abusing each other, I would quit as quick as I could.
For me gambling online is a funny thing. I do not need anybody playing war with me or somebody else.

what i hate the most is other players trying to tell you how to play, thinking that they know the best. i once played with a guy who kept on going about "mathematically you shouldnt make the move you are making and shouldnt bet the way you are betting." bore guy had no idea that i knew exactly what i was doing and while his chips got smaller and smaller i stayed at the same level and eventually won some extra money. 

Yeah it suck when other gamers aren't very welcoming. I mean I am sure the owners of the site want new members so it's kind of crappy of the other players to be so rude.

i guess some players think that they have more rights because they have been registered with the site longer. specially in poker sites where you can see the ranking of the player

Oh that stinks!  I don't pay any attention to other people when they are snooty!  It's like we were all beginners at one time and people should be willing to help you out to learn a new game.  I'm always very nice to other people I see online.  Karma is a good thing!

I totally know what you are talking about.  I don't get it because it's not like you can really intimidate someone through a chat window, can you?  I guess some players think they can annoy you into losing your stack.  Personally, the mute player option is my friend.

I usually don't get into a lot of social interaction while I'm playing if you want to call it that. There is always a few "experts" that are just annoying. Usually they have no idea what they are talking about. Easier to ignore them online than in a brick and mortar casino. Trash talk is ok as long as it is for fun and isn't mean spirited. I can ignore a lot but if the place is just plain unfriendly I'm unlikely to visit again.

absolutely agree with you. the people who kind of have a goal of getting the other players angry are sooo funny. they usually pick one player and as soon as they get some kind of a respond from the player they start shooting anything that comes to their head, loosing their own money at the same time because they are not consentrating at all at the game. love those idiots. :)
