Blackjack-how many decks?

Hi Jerseygirl. Onltegyine it does`nt really matter how many decks you play. If you are ever in Vegas- play single deck BUT not with 6-5 payout! Online the best strategy is use the strategy table and only make small bets. This is how you will make money. Using this formula with bonuses you should win at about 70% of casinos you play at. Always take  a bonus and make sure you are allowed to play blackjack with it!!

Do you prefer European Blackjack or Las Vegas Blackjack?

Yes, I know, I really have to learn a lot about this game before I get started, but I am trying to do my best not to give to much money to these casinos. Like all other player I like to win.

Hey no probs. There are different advantages and disadvantages to what kind of blackjack you play. The best rules are dealer stands soft 17, surrender allowed and able to double on any card. The importance of knowing basic strategy cannot be overstated as this is what gives the house a very low edge against us.
At the beginning when you play keep a strategy card next to you. There is no rush with online casino`s as you can take as much time as you want!! In a live casino environment you can keep a strategy table next to you, but to make for a speedier game it`s nice to know it in your head. Not as hard as you might think!!
Back to basic`s- Blackjack and poker are the only real games that you can make money with. They require skill. Slots, Keno etc its just luck and eventually you will blow your whole bankroll

What do you exactly mean by strategy table? Do you mean this wonderful overview on the bottom of the strategy site on your main site?

usually most places have 6 deck Blackjack games. i seem to have better luck in European Blackjack but it can vary of course. Learning the difference between 1 deck game and 6 deck game at the moment and it`s soooo funny how quickly the 1 deck game ands after every 5 to 6 dealt hands and you need to change your stratery moved much quicker than in 6 deck games where you can sit out of the game when u want to and take your time. :).
 
by strategy table we mean the image on blackjack stratery page. you can also find the rules for splitting any two cards and doubling possibilities. have a look through and it will give you much clearer view of everything.

Hi jerseygirl, You can find the strategy table in tha blackjack section. It tells you when do double, stand, split etc. Here`s the link Blackjack.
It might look a bit difficult at the beginning but it`s not. Just take your time and use it as a reference Eventually the more you play, the less you will use the table- as you will know it!

Hey thanks for the links and information. I have never tried playing blackjack online I usually just stick to poker but I have been thinking about trying something new.

give it a try. its a lot of fun and also not as nerve racking as poker can be.
